The Drielandenpunt (the tripoint where the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium come together) is definitely worth a visit with kids. First of all because of the experience of being in three countries at the same time. Something you just have to experience at least once.
Next to that the maze (with water spouting walls) is an exciting challenge here on the highest point of the Netherlands.
For the kids there’s plenty of room to climb and clamber, slide and swing in the playground while you lean back and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Don’t forget to also climb the stairs of the Skywalk by the way. Once at a height of 34 meters (for a fee) you can enjoy an amazing view of surrounding area. The Drielandenpunt at a mere 30 minutes from Heerlen and 45 minutes from Maastricht is a fun destination for a day out in Limburg.
