Almost everyone, young and old, has at some point in their life seen a work by M.C. Escher. The impossibilities that his paintings represent are so often mind boggling that people can hardly stop talking about them.
Never ending stairs, apparent movement and other compositions that tickle your fantasy and make your visit to Escher in het Paleis more like an amusement ride than a museum.
On the second floor of the museum this is even more true today thanks to the interactive presentation ‘In the Eye of Escher’ that makes up a large part of the photo collection of visitors having visited The Hague.
