Build in the 19th century, the St. Catharinakerk (St. Catharine’s Church) with two towers of no less than 73 meters can be found at the Catherinaplein in Eindhoven.
Due to the damage caused by the Second World War, this monumental building has been restored with stained glass windows that are in place to this day.
Interestingly, from excavations it has become clear that before the current church there was an even older church at exactly the same spot. The foundations of that church have been found and can now be seen through a glass floor in the current one.
